We live in a postcolonial world, so we are told. And the church, which is supposed to exist as a different political system than the previous colonial system somehow continues to participate in the ongoing violence of making people conform to a vision humanity according to the logic of coloniality rather than the vision of Christ who proclaimed that last shall be first and the first shall be last.
